The managers of Old Age Homes have expressed their dissatisfaction about the performance of the Government in sanctioning the yearly aid. They are not getting it in time, since the proposal is received, always by the end of the financial year. They have been deprived of the aid for several years. The procedure should be simplified.  Proposals sent by the NGO to the DWO are forwarded to the Dist. Collector, who in turn forwards them to the R.D.O. and Tehasildar. This lengthy procedure should be simplified by making the D.W.O. directly responsible.
