28 candidates shortlisted from hundreds of nominations for Namma Bengaluru Awards Trust


Invited the public to the 10th Namma Bengaluru Awards on Saturday 27 April 2019 at Dr BR Ambedkar Bhavan, Millers Road, Vasanth Nagar, Bengaluru. Recognizing unsung Heroes who have had a positive impact on Namma Bengaluru and its inhabitants has been the main objective behind Namma Bengaluru Awards over the last decade.

The Namma Bengaluru Award is one of the few awards where citizens have a crucial role to play in determining winners through nominations before our esteemed jury panel extensively deliberate and determine the finalists and awardees. Since 2009, we have received over 2.5 lakh nominations and recognized 87 unsung heroes out of list 261 finalists. This year, we have shortlisted 28 candidates from hundreds of nominations across different categories.

Water Leadership & Conservation Alliance Launched


Sri M. Danakishore, Managing Director, HMWSSB, launched the Water Leadership and Conservation (WaLC) Alliance at NTR Park

There was a meeting of 30 NGOs each with their senior citizens, grand children, students and citizens of respected allotted areas of Hyderabad for a campaign under "WaLC" Water leadership and Conservation to reduce the wastage of water and conservation of water for future generations, in party zone, near NTR garden, necklace road at 6.30am  on 22.04.2019.
