GVMC ward elections held after a decade, VOG RWA Manifesto sets the agenda for new corporators

In GVMC, there are 98 divisions (wards), as of now and elections were held on 10th March, 2021, after a gap of about a decade. 

The results were declared on 15th March and the new council, with 98 elected Coporators was formed accordingly.  Smt G.Hari Venkata Kumari, was elected as Mayor

The first council meeting was held on 09th April, 2021.  


The Voice of Gajuwaka (the Federation of Gajuwaka RWAs - Zone VI, GVMC) has been playing a vital role towards taking various activities aiming for all round development of Gajuwaka area.  

In that direction, VoG released an RWAs manifesto (Development Agenda), prior to elections, to make the contesting candidates aware of the various developmental issues for the Area.  


Consequent upon the taking over by the Corporators, Voice of Gajuwaka has greeted all the 20 Corporators of  Gajuwaka (Zone VI, GVMC) individually and presented them a comprehensive report on Gajuwaka, focussing on various developmental activities to be taken up by the GVMC council. 

VoG representatives met the Hon.ble Mayor Smt G.Hari Venkata Kumari, in her chambers on April 7th, 2021 to greet her.  On this occasion, VoG presented her a comprehensive Report on our RWAs manifesto and briefed her on the important issues to be dealt on priority. Hon.ble Mayor assured to do her best fo the development of Gajuwaka area and also to visit there shortly, to have a spot analysis of the issues. 

VoG assured the GVMC council every cooperation from their end and requested to take up the programs towards all round development of Gajuwaka on priority.
