Dr VBJ Chelikani While many political parties and their astute leaders in government in many states are lavishly delivering cash-cheques of tax-money, at their door-steps or into the bank accounts of anybody who is likely to vote for them, the Union Government thought it better to provide employment in the government directly ‘on mission mode’ so that people can receive regular salaries. But it is totally anti-economic and inflationary to recruit ten lakh citizens as government officers, precisely at a time when the s…
Dr. VBJ Rao Chelikani Change or evolution is in the nature of our Nature. But changes in man and by man have become more voluntary, faster and are impacting upon this entire planet. At present, we have not yet to be concerned about other planets and other galaxies. While the universe seems to be operating and evolving on an immutable logic of its own, the human being, however is able to gradually grasp the process of the Universe and understand the mechanisms of operation of the planet and is able to make changes to suit not on…
Dr Rao VBJ Chelikani The citizens have eagerly awaited the 21 April 2022 which is the Civil Services Day to find out whether there is any reflection or discussion on their part on the ongoing crisis in the domain of public administration. This year too, the day is observed largely as a protocol of self-congratulatory speeches and awards of excellence to some officers by the prime minister, who is the real-head of the entire Executive machinery. He exhorted the government functionaries to attend to their prime responsibility, which accordin…

The wars hereafter are the most visible and open in terms of all damage and destruction that is taking plac…
Rao VBJ Chelikan i The present Government is intentionally throwing away the baby along with the bath water. Ignoring the indispensable role and place of the civil society organisations in a democracy, as it is visible in advanced liberal democracies, there is a clear tendency on the part of the Government to change the rules of the game, constantly, so as not to allow the Indian citizens to enjoy their constitutional right to freely form associations and to operate them efficiently. The present authorities are unable to see the ro…

What Do We Want ? Firstly, democracy is a method of ordering human relations in a civilised way, so as not to allow the brute force of one person or several of them to dominate the persons in the society. We have adopted the method of governance by the Representatives elected periodically by the people, who make laws which rule all of us, including the Representatives. The process would see that ultimately the Absolute Power vests with the people and that they could effectively exercise it. To implement that objective, firstly, the Pow…
